Dermalux Flex LED Light Therapy
Our skin clinic in Telford offers a results driven LED light therapy treatment. The Dermalux Flex MD, an FDA-approved and medically certified device, sets the benchmark for LED Light Therapy and stands as the strongest portable LED device globally. LED, or Light Emitting Diode, therapy harnesses various light wavelengths to address diverse skin issues effectively. Blue Light (415nm) targets breakouts, redness, and superficial skin concerns. Red Light (633nm) enhances cell turnover and function by 200%, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Near Infrared Light (830nm) treats deep skin wounds at the subcutaneous level. The Dermalux Flex uniquely features 'triwave' technology, employing all three wavelengths simultaneously to tackle multiple skin conditions.
LED facial benefits include skin rejuvenation, increased collagen and elastin production, accelerated wound healing, and alleviation of breakouts, redness, inflammation, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. To maximize effectiveness, Dermalux Flex recommends a regimen of 12 treatments, each lasting 30 minutes, with an initial phase of two treatments per week for three weeks, followed by weekly sessions for six weeks. LED light therapy is available as a standalone treatment, complete with a thorough cleanse, or as a 20-minute upgrade to most other treatments. There's no downtime, making it ideal before special occasions, holidays or just a busy social calendar.

There is no downtime or specific aftercare associated with this treatment. If LED Light Therapy has been used in conjunction with other treatments, the specific aftercare advice for that treatment should be followed.
General aftercare advice:
Do apply SPF (minimum factor 30) every day.
Make-up can be applied immediately following LED Light Therapy. However, we recommend the use of mineral based or non-comedogenic formulations that allow the skin to breathe.
Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration levels and aid the lymphatic drainage system to eliminate toxins.
In the unlikely event that any adverse reaction occurs following treatment, please contact both your Skincare Specialist AND a doctor (if necessary) immediately for advice.
