A skin consultation is recommended for your first appointment and you will not be able to book treatments without having one for health and safety reasons. The initial consultation can be up to 45 minutes and is an opportunity to meet with one of our Skin Specialists to discuss your skin concerns, goals and current skincare regime in detail. This is so we can fully understand your skin concerns, tailor treatments and create an effective home skincare plan to help you achieve your goals. An introductory treatment can also be done on the same day if you do not wish to have your consultation and treatment separately, however more invasive treatments such as peels and microneedling will require preparation.
An important part of the consultation is incorporating professional grade skincare products into your routine, as these are essential to achieve the best results. We stock professional grade products which are formulated to be the best treatment for rosacea, acne, dryness, hyperpigmentation and signs of ageing. Our professional skincare lines DermaQuest and Cliniccare have quality ingredients and formulations that have the support from scientific research. After the consultation if you decide to proceed with the treatment, we will create a bespoke skin plan for you with a recommended treatment plan and home care products. This will also contain diet and lifestyle advice, stress management, supplements and general skin tips.
There will also be an opportunity at the consultation to discuss lifestyle factors and potential triggers which are likely to be contributing to your skin concerns. We take an holistic view of skin health and wellness by considering your stress levels, diet, lifestyle and current skincare regime. We will also perform a thorough skin analysis to identify areas for improvement and take photographs to track each clients progress.
